It’s Friday night, you have been planning on doing a progressive dinner for months and tonight is the night. The problem is that your friends don’t live that close, certainly not walking distance. Your course is the horsdoveres, everything is perfect, you have the right wine, the right dishes, everything is packed up and ready to go, the doorbell rings but it is not your friends, it is your driver! You walk to the coach and find that everyone is on board, all picked up at their door and no matter how much fun is had tonight they will be taken back safe and sound.
Once on board you can smell the food everyone has brought, it smells wonderful! As the coach rolls away you open the wine and pour for the group, the appetizers are a hit. Everyone raves about your smoked mozzarella, phyllo pizzas and die for your grandmas Ceviche!
This progressive dinner is not like your mothers cooking group. Everyone has not only prepared gourmet food but has picked a location around the town that will go perfectly with their course. Seafood pasta on a fishing boat in the harbor, Beef Bistecca Fiorentina in the Skagit valley watching the perfect sunset, corn grits with shrimp in a corn field overlooking the river.
What do you get when you put together the perfect food, the perfect company, perfectly paired wines and a motorcoach? You get the perfect evening. As the coach drops people off at their front door everyone leaves with only one question on their mind… When can we do this again?
