Terms and Conditions

  • Equipment: Starline Luxury Coaches operates a diverse fleet of 22 Full Size Luxury Motorcoaches and 35  Luxury Minicoaches so we are able to RiteSize any of your group transportation needs. All coaches are equipped with plush high back reclining seats with air rests and foot rests, large picture windows with safety tinted glass, air conditioning, and PA system. All full size luxury motorcoaches come equipped with DVD capabilities at no additional charge; (available in mid-sized motorcoaches upon request). Starline will not be held responsible for inoperative audio/video equipment. Starline reserves the right to substitute similar equipment from other carriers when necessary.

    It is agreed and understood that the individuals, group, and booking agent will be fully responsible for damages to the vehicle that are caused by the group, any individual from the group, or any other party that the group is involved with in any way. All repairs made to the coach for damages incurred will be under the direction of Starline at a facility of its choosing. All cost for repairs will be charged to the chartering party.

    Booking Policy: Orders can be placed over the phone at 1-800-440-3347 or via Email at sales@discoverstarline.com. Customers will receive a confirmation of their order by fax or email. Charters are not confirmed until a confirmation is issued, signed, and returned to Starline. If you do not receive a confirmation from us within three days of placing an order, please contact our office immediately to be sure that we received your request.

    Payment Policy: Full payment is due seven days prior to service date. For your convenience, we accept checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. Original trip confirmations do not necessarily reflect actual charges. Customers may be billed for the amount of time the coach was reserved for regardless of wether the trip returns early. Any changes, additions, or deletions may change the cost of the charter. Starline will not be responsible for delays due to heavy traffic, accidents, or severe weather. Customers will be billed for any overtime or excess mileage incurred on the charter after service is completed.

    Starline will not be held responsible for any losses other than the cost of the charter should an appointed time or event scheduled by the group be missed due to any fault of Starline.

    All legal fees incurred by Starline in collecting for any part of this contract are the responsibility of the chartering party and/or booking agent.

    Cancellation Policy: There is no charge for cancellations made before payment is due. All cancellations within 14 days of date of service are subject to a $100.00 cancellation charge. Cancellations made within seven days of date of service may be charged the full amount of the charter.

    Gratuities: Charter prices do not include a service gratuity. Gratuities can be added to the invoice if the customer so desires. We recommend following the industry standard which is currently 10%. Gratuities are distributed to employees through the safety bonus plan via payroll once the gratuity is paid to Starline.

    Driver’s Lodging: Groups and/or booking agents are responsible for securing and paying for driver’s lodging on any overnight charters, or mileage service if the driver will run out of legal hours of service. Each driver must have a private hotel room. Room must be of average quality or better, and have own bath facilities.

    Cleaning/Damage Deposit: A Cleaning deposit of $250.00 will be required for all charters who wish to bring alcohol on board. This deposit may be held on a major credit card, and will not be billed unless the vehicle requires anything more than normal cleaning upon return. It is the responsibility of the chartering party to notify Starline if alcohol will be brought on board. The chartering party must also obtain a Banquet Permit (about $12.00) from a Washington State Liquor Store. Kegs and glass bottles are not permitted on Starline vehicles. Failure to comply with these terms may result in termination of charter with no refund of charter fees.

    There is no smoking at any time on Starline vehicles.

    Lost and Found: Starline is not responsible for any lost items. The chartering party should check the vehicle for any items left on the vehicle before exiting. If an item is found by Starline at the conclusion of the trip, the client is responsible for the cost of shipping to return the item.

    Emergency Contact Information: A Starline representative is available during office hours from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday and a Manager on Duty is available 24 hours a day /7 days a week by calling 1-800-440-3347.
