Q. How far in advance should I book my charter bus rental?

A. Normally three  months in advance is recommended. However, we will do our best to accommodate your request and we can book moves up to a week before your trip.

Q. Does Starline Charter Buses have regular scheduled runs from city to city?

A. No, Starline is exclusively a charter operation for groups who charter the complete coach to go to the destination of their choice. We do run sports shuttles for the Sounders games.

Q. Does Starline Motorcoaches arrange for tickets at attractions and arrange tours?

A. We leave that up to the group. If you need help with that we will be glad to help direct you or recommend a travel agency to assist with your plans.

Q. Can Starline Charter Buses accommodate handicapped passengers?

A. Yes, our fleet includes full size coaches, mid-size coaches and minibuses that all have wheelchair lifts and securements for up to two wheelchairs.

Q. Can we take food or drinks on the charter buses?

A. Yes, food and drinks are permitted on the coach. We supply trash bags, and ask that the coach is kept picked-up for the group’s comfort.

Q. Can we bring alcoholic beverages on the charter buses?

A. Yes you can. Canned drinks are okay but no kegs or bottles please. Just like food and other drinks, we ask you to keep the motorcoach clean.

Q. Can we smoke on the motorcoach?

A. No, Starline has a no smoking policy on the coach. If your group wishes to smoke, we will be glad to make rest stops as needed.

Q. Where can the motorcoach come to pick us up?

A. That’s the beauty of chartering a motor coach, we come to you. We can pick you up wherever you want and take you directly to your destination.

Q. Since your coaches are based in Seattle do you charge to get the coach to the pick-up point?

A. It depends where you start your trip. Starline has free pick-ups from the following cities in Washington:   Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham.  In other areas we charge a fee from the nearest free city to your pick-up point.

Q. Do your Charter Buses travel to Canada or Mexico?

A. We do travel to Canada frequently. However we do not travel to Mexico.

Q. Do your motorcoaches have restrooms?

A. Yes, all of our motorcoaches have restroom. Our mid-size buses and minibuses have them as well.

Q. What other amenities are on the motorcoach?

A. All of our coaches are equipped with DVDs, AM/FM radios, PA systems, reclining seats, individual reading lights, and of course air conditioning. Feel free to bring your favorite videos to watch while traveling.

Q. Where do you store my suitcase and how much luggage can I take on the motorcoach?

A. All of our motorcoaches have ample space under the coach to carry your luggage. The charter buses also have overhead compartments inside the coach for a carry-on bag.

Q. Is the driver gratuity included in the price of the charter bus?

A. If you wish to give the driver a gratuity, it is at the customer’s discretion.

Q. Is the price the same year round for the motorcoaches?

A.No, but we do give seasonal discounts – ask one of our representatives for details.

Q. Is the group responsible for the driver’s meals and lodging?

A. The driver normally takes care of their own meals, though if you wish to include the driver in group meals that is appreciated. We do normally ask the group to take care of the driver’s lodging, as it is beneficial to have the driver at the same hotel as the group and many times the group gets a better rate than an individual at hotels.
