Professional Motorcoach Operator

  • General Purpose

    :To drive the coach assigned and perform the duties outlined by the charter order while maintaining the highest level of safety and fulfill the customers needs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1.   Provide the highest level of customer service possible.

    2.   Pre-trip, mid-trip and post-trip all coaches assigned before, during and end of each move.

    3.   Fill out all necessary forms before, during and after each move, example; Vehicle Inspection

    Report, Damage Report, Driver’s log sheet and Charter Orders.

    4.  Drive as needed to fulfill customer’s needs.

    5.  Load luggage when necessary.

    6.   Perform all duties in a manner to assure safe and secure transportation for passengers and coaches.

    7.   Maintain a flexible attitude with changes to charters as needed.

    8.   Communicate with dispatch, MOD and/or drivers on the same move as needed with any changes that

    may occur.

    9.   Report to work at appointed yard time.

    10. At each debark location search the coaches for lost items.

    11. Fuel as per company policy.

    12. Dress in company uniform.

    13. Ensure not to getting lost with route pre-planning for each move.

    14. Leave coach ready for an emergency move, i.e. sweep and remove all trash, arm rests, foot rest and

    seat backs orderly.

    15. Maintain the cleanliness of the coach during each run.

    16. Maintain bus as required for Out-of-town moves.

    17. Stand at the entry door to assist passengers on & off the coach.

    Qualifications:

    1. CDL Class B or license with P1 endorsement.

    2. Be able to operate charter coaches to the size qualified for.

    3. Maintain a Dept of Transportation Medical Card and current license in conjunction with the DOT

    regulations.

    4. Have the ability to speak and understand English.

    5. Have a clean Driver’s Motor Vehicle Report with only one moving violation in the last 3 years.

    6. Have the ability to lift 75 pounds.

    7. Must be 25 years old or older.

    8. Ability to have a flexible schedule.
